A 61 unit, 63,000 square foot condo development, undertaken for Prevel in Old Montreal, Quebec. The quaint location for the project required underpinning of two existing turn-of-the-century buildings. The development includes a rooftop terrace with a “Zen” basin. All units are complete with hardwood flooring, hardwood doors and frames, and European kitchens and appliances.

This Audi Queensway is a 65,000 sq.ft. dealership located at The Queensway and East Mall featuring to the new Audi identity. The dealership includes a 20,000 sq.ft. showroom, 10,000 sq.ft. used car display, and a state of the art service facility with equipment able to handle over 25 vehicles at any given time. The facility also includes a 15,000 sq.ft. basement for additional services as required. The building is equipped with an in ground filtration and recharger systems to limit the storm water discharge into the city storm water systems. A 35,000 sq.ft. green roof was installed to also assist with storm water retention. A gorgeous landscaped patio, customer bistro and car wash were also installed.

Located on the corner of Bay & College Street, 777 Bay St. is a 30 storey Class "A" tower with two levels of retail concourse, bridging the gap between Bloor Street and Toronto's financial core. 777 Bay Street is one of the pioneer buildings in Toronto's dynamic neighborhood where recent growth is seen in the residential, commercial, and retail sectors. Surrounding the building within a one block radius is Toronto's hospital corridor, the MaRS Medical Research Development, and Queen's Park.
Construction included a complete renovation of the two floor retail concourse along with the building's 3 lobbies, exterior 32,000 SF plaza, and the addition of 4 new elevators to accommodate the building's increased densification program.

Reliance was chosen by The Brick to design its new concept stores for Eastern Canada. Reliance’s role included analysis of different options and their subsequent implementation. Together with a team of professionals, Reliance developed design criteria to be followed by all future stores in the region. Projects were completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Lowney's Phase I 2005  |  70,000 sf

Conversion and restoration of the 1902 Lowney’s wood structure chocolate factory (two buildings) to accommodate a new 110 unit condo development. Phase I of the development includes 1 floor of underground parking, exposed wood beams within each unit, a rooftop terrace complete with swimming pool, and contemporary finishes.

A72,000 sf extension to existing building including 30,000 sf of head office fit-up and 42'-0" clear distribution center. New office mezzanines were constructed over existing interior loading docks, without impeding normal business operations. A400'-0" long, 12'-0" high snow shelf was constructedon the roof of the existing building to compensate for large difference in the heights of the two buildings.

Reliance completed the first three Fly Stores (Laval, St. Laurent and St. Hubert, Quebec) in North America building on designs and concepts brought to Canada by the French furniture chain to Montreal in 2002. Each store is between 60,000 and 75,000 sf and each was completed in less than 4 months. Our role in all three of these initial North American stores included the constant coordination and assistance to the building owner and design professionals to adapt the European design to the North American market (choice of materials, design techniques and building envelope solutions).

The Monza project is a 10-storey luxury midrise located at the centre of a bustling midtown neighbourhood that teams with great breakfast spots, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, fresh markets, fashion boutiques and more. It's also just a short walk from the delightful Wychwood Barns, streetcars are at your door and the subway to downtown takes only minutes.

The project consists of 76 units and 2 levels of underground parking garage. The building envelope is a mixture of curtain wall, window wall and STO architectural finish. Monza offers residents an elegant mix of quality fitness and sophisticated leisure and entertaining amenities. A modern, bright, glass-infused lobby with concierge service and parcel retrieval. Monza offers an onsite fitness centre with the latest machines and weights, and features a rooftop party room with fireplace, large screen TV, catering kitchen, and dining area.



Montreal Trust Computer Center 1990  |  80,000 sf
Contract delivery :
Primary computer processing center for Bank of Montreal Trust, located on Nun's Island in Montreal. Special requirements included multiple levels of redundancy for electrical systems including an emergency generator with underground oil tanks, extensive security systems, explosion proof rooms, impact resistant facades including false windows, and stringent humidity and ventilation requirements.
